Suicide Attack Hits Syria's Sweida, Kills 32: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A suicide attack in the city of Sweida in southwestern Syria caused deaths and injuries, a report said.
The authorities killed two of the suicide attackers “before they blew themselves up,” the Syrian state news agency SANA reported on its Telegram feed on Wednesday, citing its correspondent.
The attack has so far claimed the lives of 32 people, AFP said citing a source in the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
On July 10, Syrian army forces managed to frustrate a similar attack by foreign-sponsored Takfiri militants in the country’s western coastal province of Latakia.
