IPL: Naft Masjed Solyman, Persepolis Share the Spoils
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Naft Masjed Soleyman football team and Persepolis played out a goalless draw in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.
Persepolis had a chance of going top of the table with a win in its away match but failed to do that.
Branko Ivankovic’s side sits second with 38 points.
Sepahan is at the top with 38 points and one game in hand.
Naft Masjed Soleyman remains in 13th place with 17 points, 10 points above the relegation zone.
On Sunday, Esteghlal will host Zob Ahan and Saipa meet Tractor Sazi in Tehran.
