Iran Runner-up at Asian University Karate Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in second place at the 1st Asian University Karate Championship 2019.
Iran's Islamic Azad University came second with four gold medals, two silver and one bronze.
Behnoush Najafi, Mohaddese Aghaei, Ali Meskini and Mehdi Rahiminejhad won four gold medals for the Iranian team.
Avishan Bagheri and Ali Akbar Dastjani claimed two silver medals and Mi’ad Yari took a bronze.
The 1st Asian University Karate Championship 2019 was held at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf with the attendance of representatives from AUSF, Organizing Committee, local authorities and nearly 100 participants from 11 countries and regions.
