Gol Gohar Defeats Tractor: 2024-25 Hazfi Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Gol Gohar football team defeated Tractor 2-1 in the 2024-25 Iran Hazfi Cup Round of 32 on Friday.
Tractor midfielder Sokol Cikalleshi converted his penalty at the Yadegar-e Emam Stadium in the 18th minute and Mehdi Tikdari equalized the match in the 41st minute.
Gol Gohar's young midfielder Pouria Latififar scored a long-range goal in the 64th minute.
Also, defending champion Sepahan defeated Pars Jonoubi Jam 2-0 at the Takhti Stadium in Jam. Kaveh Rezaei scored the first goal in the 12th minute and Javad Aghaeipour made it 2-0 in the injury time.
Shenavar Sazi lost to Mes Rafsanjan 1-0 in Qeshm. Mehdi Sharifi scored the solitary goal of the match.
Fard Alborz lost to Kheybar Khoramabad 1-0 in their home match.
On Thursday, Persepolis defeated Mes Songoon 3-0 in Tehran’s Shahr-e Qods Stadium.
On Saturday, Shams Azar will host Shahin Tehran, Esteghlal Khuzestan meet Paykan in Ahvaz and Sanat Naft Abadan play Aluminum in Abadan.
The Hazfi Cup is an Iranian knockout football competition held annually by the Football Federation of Iran.
