ACL: Sri Lankan Dilan Perera to Officiate Al-Zawraa v Zob Ahan Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Hettikamkanamge Dilan Perera from Sri Lanka will officiate the match between Al-Zawraa of Iraq and Iran’s Zob Ahan in the 2019 AFC Champions League.
Zob Ahan will meet its Iraqi rival on Tuesday at the Karbala Sports City in Karbala in Group A.
A draw will prove enough to secure qualification for the Iranian football team.
Dilan Perera officiated the match between Persepolis and Al Sadd of Qatar in the last season, and Persepolis and Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor in the current season.
Hettikamkanamge Dilan Perera, 40, is a Sri Lankan professional football referee.
He has been a full international for FIFA since 2004. Perera has refereed some matches in AFC Champions League.
