Iran Qualifies for 2019 VNL Final Six
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Serbia 3-1 (25-23, 26-28, 25-22, 25-19) to secure a place in the 2019 men’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Final Six with two matches remaining on Friday.
Amir Ghafour top scored Iran with 25 points and Srecko Lisinac was Serbia’s top scorer with 20 points.
Team Melli will face Bulgaria and USA on Saturday and Sunday.
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League is the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual international men's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams.
The competition’s final round will take place in the Credit Union 1 Arena, Chicago, United States.
This is the first edition of the World League or the Nations League to have the Final Round hosted in North America.
