Iran U-23 Greco-Roman Claims World Championship Title
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-23 Greco-Roman claimed the team title of the World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary on Sunday.
On the first day of the competition, Meysam Dalkhani and Ali Akbar Yousefi won two gold medals at the 63kg and 130kg respectively.
On the event’s final day, Iran’s Mohammad Reza Geraei defeated Azerbaijan’s Sanan Suleymanov 7-0 in the 72kg final match.
Mehdi Mohsennejhad (60kg), Sajjad Imentalab (67kg) and Mohammad Hadi Saravi (97kg) won three bronzes.
On Friday, Iran freestyle team became runner-up behind Russia.
