Iran to Play Kyrgyzstan at AFC U-19 C’ship 2020 Qualifiers Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will start the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 Qualifiers with a match against Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday.
Iran - having lifted the CAFA U-19 Championship recently - is the early favorite in Group D against the United Arab Emirates, the Kyrgyz Republic and Nepal.
UAE, however, will pose a challenge after finishing runner-up in the 2019 WAFF U-18 Championship.
Iran will also meet Nepal and the UAE on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
The competition will be held in Tehran, Iran from November 6 to 10.
