Iran Downs Tajikistan at CAFA U-23 Women Championship Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran started CAFA U-23 Women Championship 2019 on a high note on Friday.
Maryam Azmoun’s team defeated the host 4-0 in Dushanbe.
The tournament is being held in Dushanbe and Hisor from November 22 to 28.
The CAFA U-23 Women Championship has brought Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan together.
Iran’s fixture in the tournament is as follows:
November 23: Iran - Turkmenistan
November 25: Iran - Kyrgyzstan
November 26: Iran – Uzbekistan
November 28: Iran – Afghanistan
The CAFA U-23 Women champion will be decided on a round-robin basis.
