Iran Wins Two Bronzes at Karate1 Premier League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two Iranian karate fighters claimed bronze medals at the Karate1 Premier League - Madrid 2019 on Sunday.
Hamideh Abbasali defeated her Japanese rival Saito Ayaka to win a bronze medal at the Female Kumite 68+ Kg.
In the Male Kumite 84+ Kg, Salah Abazari beat his countryman Mahdi Ashouri to claim a bronze medal.
Amir Mehdizadeh in the Male Kumite -60 and Sajad Ganjzadeh in the Male Kumite +84kg have qualified for the final match.
The tournament has brought 737 karate athletes together from 89 countries.
