Bijan Heydari Selected to Referee Tehran Derby
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Bijan Heydari will officiate Thursday afternoon’s Tehran derby between Persepolis and Esteghlal.
Saeid Alinejhadian and Saeid Ghasemi will be Heydari’s two match assistants.
The 92nd derby will be held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Esteghlal leads the head to head results in competitive matches with 26 wins to Persepolis's 24, while 41 matches ended in a draw.
Tehran derby is a football match between the two prominent Tehran clubs Esteghlal (Blues) and Persepolis (Reds).
