Iran to Send Large Delegation to 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sports and Youth Minister Ahmad Donyamali said that they will send a large delegation to the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games.
Donyamali welcomed Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Iran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi in the sports ministry on Wednesday.
Emphasizing the growing relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Donyamali said Iran will send a large delegation to the Games.
“There are common concerns between the two countries in sports issues and we hope to resolve the concerns,” he said.
The 6th Islamic Solidarity Games will be held on August 6-15, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Islamic Solidarity Games is a multinational, multi-sport event. The Games involve the elite athletes of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation who compete in a variety of sports.
