Iran Professional League to Restart on June 11
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iran Professional League (IPL) will reportedly resume on June 11.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday said that the football leagues will restart after the holy month of Ramadan but the competitions must be played behind closed doors.
The teams will start their training after Eid al-Fitr and three weeks later the competitions will restart.
With nine weeks remaining, Persepolis sits top of the table with 47 points, followed by Sepahan and Tractor both with 37 points.
