Thousands of Protesters Demand Netanyahu's Resignation in Jerusalem (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Thousands of protesters gathered in front of Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem on Thursday, in the latest of a series of anti-government demonstrations in the country.
Protesters demanded Netanyahu's departure citing corruption charges he faces, Anadolu news agency reported.
For about two months, demonstrations against Netanyahu have become a weekly habit.
On July 13, the results of an opinion poll conducted by Israeli broadcaster Channel 13 showed that 75% of Israelis were "dissatisfied" with the performance of the Netanyahu government during the coronavirus crisis.
