Ghalenoei Emerges as Shock Candidate for Zob Ahan Job
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Ghalenoei is reportedly one of the candidates for Zob Ahan coaching job.
Luka Bonacic left the Iranian top-flight football team after eight matches in charge on Sunday.
The Croat avoided Zob Ahan from relegation and now the Isfahan-based football team is searching for a coach for the vacant job.
Amir Ghalenoei, who led the team in the 2017-18 season, is a candidate to take charge of the team once again.
The 56-year-old stepped down as Sepahan coach with two matches remaining following poor results and another Isfahan-based football team has shown interest in signing him.
Naft Masjed Soleyman coach Mehdi Tartar also is a candidate for the job.
