IPL: Shahr Khoro Edges Nassaji
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahr Khodro football team edged past struggling Nassaji 1-0 in Matchweek 12 of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
On Wednesday, Shahr Khodro emerged victorious over Nassaji in Mashhad courtesy of Amin Ghaseminejhad’s goal in the 30th minute.
Zob Ahan’s winless streak continued with a 0-0 draw against Naft Masjed Soleyman in Isfahan.
In Tehran, Paykan was surprised by Mes, losing to the Rafsanjan-based team 3-2.
Mohammad Sattari and Mohammad Amin Darwishi were on target for Paykan and Faraz Emamali (two goals) and Sajad Ashouri scored for Mes.
Esteghlal leads the table with 22 points followed by Sanat Naft.
