Esteghlal Forward Cheick Diabate Leaves Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team iconic striker Cheick Diabate left Tehran on Friday.
The Malian forward has traveled to France for vacations.
Diabate, who helped Esteghlal defeat Paykan in Hazfi Cup Round of 32, will return to Iran in late March.
Diabate is an instrumental player for the Iranian team in the Iran Professional League and AFC Champions League.
Esteghlal sits third in IPL and is a favorite to win the title after eight years.
