Iran 12th in FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in 12th place at the FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup 2021 on Sunday.
Iran lost to Latvia 71-63 and finished in the 12th place. The Persians had previously lost to Latvia in group stage.
Parsa Fallah pocketed 25 points for Iran and Latvian Davis Denafs scored 20 points.
The US, the most-decorated team, won the title for the eighth time. It beat France 83-81 in the final match.
Canada claimed the bronze medal with a 101-92 win over Serbia.
