Tokyo 2020: Iran Sitting Volleyball Overpowers Germany
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran sitting volleyball team eased past Germany in its first match in the 2020 Paralympic Games on Saturday.
The Iranian team defeated its European rival 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-17) in Pool B in Chiba.
Iran will meet Brazil and China on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
Pool A consists of hosts Japan along with Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Russia Paralympic Committee (RPC) and Rio 2016 bronze medalist Egypt.
