Iran’s Saman Razi Takes Bronze in Powerlifting: Tokyo 2020
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian powerlifter Saman Razi won a bronze medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games on Monday.
He finished in third place with a lift of 231kg.
Enkhbayar Sodnompiljee from Mongolia claimed the gold with 245kg.
Yee Khie Jong from Malaysia grabbed the bronze with a lift of 237kg.
It was Iran’s fourth medal in powerlifting.
Rouhollah Rostami has won a gold medal and Amir Jafari and Hamed Solhipour also claimed two silver medals.
