Iran Wheelchair Basketball Fails to Qualify for Next Stage: Tokyo 2020
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran wheelchair basketball team lost to Germany 56-53 in Group B of the 2020 Paralympic Games on Monday.
The team lost to Australia, USA and Britain and defeated Algeria in Group B.
The Iranian team failed to book a place in the knockout stage.
A total of 10 teams were separated into two groups of six with the top four qualifying through to the knockout stage of the competition.
From there it would be a knockout format which would lead to the gold medal match.
