Qatar Beats Iran in Doha Handball Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Qatar 35-24 in the four-team Qatar handball tournament on Saturday.
Montoya Fernandez’s team had started the tournament with a 24-16 win over Saudi Arabia but lost to Kuwait 32-27.
The four-team tournament started on November 2 and ran until November 6.
Iran prepares for the 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship, which is scheduled to be held from January 18 to 31, 2022 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
