Iran Falls Short against Kuwait in Qatar Handball Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran handball team was defeated against Kuwait at the Qatar handball tournament on Thursday.
Team Melli lost to Kuwait 32-27.
Montoya Montoya Fernandez’s team had started the tournament with a 24-16 win over Saudi Arabia.
Iran will play Qatar on Saturday.
The four-team tournament started on November 2 and runs until November 6.
Iran prepares for the 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship, which is scheduled to be held from January 18 to 31, 2022 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
