Iran’s Greco-Roman Youth, Junior Coaches Named
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of Iran Wrestling Federation Alireza Dabir appointed the head coaches of the Greco-Roman youth and junior teams.
Mohsen Sourian was appointed as head coach of the youth team and Hamid Bavafa was named as head coach of the junior team.
The Iranian federation is going to invest in Greco-Roman wrestling for upcoming events.
Iran won two medals in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Mohammad Reza Gera claimed a gold medal in the 67kg while Mohammad Hadi Saravi seized a bronze in the 97kg.
