Iran Reports 1,816 New Covid-19 Cases
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s Health Ministry on Sunday reported 1,816 new COVID-19 cases, taking the country’s total infections to 7,141,033.
The pandemic also claimed the lives of 60 Iranians in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll from the virus to 139,610, said the ministry.
The report added that 2,011 patients were hospitalized with critical conditions due to the infection.
A total of 6,822,521 patients out of a total of 7,141,033 infected people have recovered from the disease or been discharged from hospitals across the country.
By Friday, 63,759,258 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 56,562,086 who have taken two jabs, as well as 25,725,052 who have received the third shot.
