Alireza Jahanbakhsh Chosen Man of the Match: 2022 WCQ
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football team captain Alireza Jahanbakhsh was chosen as Man of the Match for his brilliant performance against Lebanon.
On Tuesday, Team Melli defeated Lebanon 2-0 in Group A of the 2022 World Cup qualifier thanks to goals from Sardar Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh.
The Feyenoord star beat Lebanese goalkeeper Mostafa Matar in the 72nd minute with a cultured side-footed effort which sent the bouncing ball floating into the net from 15 yards.
