Iran Beats Kazakhstan to Finish 5th at FIBA U-16 Women’s Asian C’ship Division B
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran got sweet revenge against Kazakhstan, beating it in the fifth-place match of the FIBA U-16 Women’s Asian Championship Division B.
The Iranian girls won the match against Kazakhstan 57-36 at the Prince Hamzah Stadium in Amman, Jordan on Wednesday.
Iran’s Shamim Nouri scored 13 points, while Anastassiya Knaub grabbed 12 points for Kazakhstan.
Iran had been defeated against Kazakhstan 56-46 in preliminary round on Monday.
The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan.
