Iran’s FM to Visit Kuwait

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian is going to pay a visit to Kuwait in the near future, Iran’s ambassador to Kuwait City said.

Speaking to Kuwaiti media on Monday, Mohammad Irani said Amirabdollahian will travel to the Arab country in the near future.

He said Tehran has agreed on the appointment of Kuwait’s envoy, who will leave for Tehran within the next few days.

The return of Badr Abdullah al-Munikh as Kuwaiti ambassador to Iran is normal because bilateral relations between the two countries are strong, especially at the political level, he added.

Hailing the age-old relations between the two nations, Irani expected that the bilateral ties would continue to grow.

The presence of the Kuwaiti ambassador in Iran is a very good opportunity for the rapid expansion of bilateral relations in all fields and is in line with the interests of both countries, he stated.
