Four Palestinians Injured, 23 Arrested in Israeli Forces’ Raid on Jenin

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Israeli regime’s forces stormed several locations in the West Bank city of Jenin, leaving four Palestinians injured and detaining 23 others.

Local sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that the Israeli forces raided the city and its refugee camp of Jenin apparently to arrest activists. Palestinians confronted the forces, who fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the Palestinians causing a number of suffocation cases.

The soldiers also raided, thoroughly searched and ransacked the Jenin refugee camp home of Mahmoud Shreim, who is held in an Israeli prison. Meanwhile, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian lands in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.

The Israeli forces deployed behind the border fence in eastern Rafah city opened fire at Palestinian agricultural lands in the area. No injuries were reported.

Also, Qatar News Agency reported that at least sixteen Palestinians were detained by the Israeli forces after they raided multiple Nablus neighborhoods, the Qalandia camps in Al-Quds, Aida in Bethlehem, and the towns of Ethna and Beit Awa.
