Esteghlal, Aluminum Share Spoils in Goalless Draw: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team was held to a goalless draw by Aluminum in the Iran Professional League (IPL) Matchday 10 on Friday.
A draw put the Blues on level points with Sepahan in third place.
Aluminum went to 10-man in the 85th minute when its forward Esmaeil Sharifat received his second yellow card.
Elsewhere, Paykan was held to a 1-1 by Havadar, Gol Gohar defeated Zob Ahan 1-0 and Naft Masjed Soleyman drew 0-0 with Mes Rafsanjan.
On Thursday, Persepolis had defeated Malavan 1-0 to remain top of the table with 21 points, two points ahead of Esteghlal.
