Fire Breaks Out at Chemical Factory in Turkey’s Denizli (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A huge fire broke out in a factory producing textile chemicals in the Turkish city of Denizli.
Efforts to extinguish the fire that broke out in the chemical factory in Pamukkale district of Denizli continued on Monday, Sozcu reported.
The fire, which started in the warehouse section of the facility in Kale Mahallesi of Pamukkale district, quickly affected the entire factory.
A large number of fire trucks were dispatched to the region after the employees informed the fire brigades. Firefighters continue to respond to the fire.
The Denizli Governor's Office stated that there are no casualties or damages as of now, but the factories closed due to the fire and the area was evacuated for safety reasons.
Extensive investigations have been started in order to determine the cause of the fire.
