Iran’s Omid Ebrahimi Undergoes Surgery
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran international midfielder Omid Ebrahimi underwent foot surgery on Wednesday.
He missed the 2022 World Cup due to a groin injury.
Ebrahimi, 35, picked up the injury in the friendly match against Nicaragua in Tehran ahead of the World Cup.
His absence was a big loss for Team Melli. He was a member of Carlos Queiroz’s team in the 2018 World Cup.
