Iran Wins CAFA Women's Futsal Championship

Sara Shirbeigi (two goals), Mahsa Kamali (two goals) and Fereshteh Karimi scored for Iran.

Team Melli Banovan, headed by Forouzan Soleymani, had previously defeated Kyrgyzstan (5-0) and Tajikistan (16-0) in the tournament.

The 2023 CAFA Women's Futsal Championship was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from January 25 to 30.

It was the second edition of the CAFA Women's Futsal Championship, the annual international futsal championship organized by CAFA for the women's national futsal teams of Central Asia.

Iran had also won the inaugural edition, which was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in 2022.
