Iran Crashes Uzbekistan at 2023 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Uzbekistan 11-2 in Group B of the 2023 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup on Saturday.
Mohammad Mokhtari (three goals), Ali Mirshekari (two goals), Movahed Mohammadpour (two goals), Moslem Mesigar (two goals), Reza Amirizadeh and Mahdi Shirmohammadi scored for Iran and Jamshid Rasulov and Mallaev were on target for Uzbekistan.
Iran, who started the competition with a 14-5 win over Malaysia on Thursday, will play the UAE on Monday.
The tournament is taking place in Pattaya, Thailand from March 16 to 26.
