Iran Futsal Defeats Uzbekistan: Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national futsal team defeated Uzbekistan 5-3 in a friendly match Sunday night.
In the match, held in Tehran’s Dastgerdi Hall, Saeid Ahmad Abbasi (two goals), Mehdi Karimi (two goals) and Hossein Tayyebi were on target for Team Melli.
Iran will meet Uzbekistan once again on Tuesday.
Iran, headed by Vahid Shamsaei, finished runner-up in the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup held in Kuwait in October.
