Ouzounidis Named Gol Gohar Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim – Marinos Ouzounidis was appointed as new head coach of Iranian football club Gol Gohar.
The 54-year-old Greek coach replaced Amir Ghalenoei in the Sirjan-based club.
Ouzounidis has most recently coached in the Saudi Arabian team Al-Faisaly.
Ouzounidis started his coaching career in the Cypriot team APOEL Nicosia in 2006 and has also worked in Greek teams Panionios, Panathinaikos, AEK Athens and Universitatea Craiova of Romania.
Gol Gohar finished in sixth place last season in Iran's 16-team league.
