Iran Beaten by Brazil at 2023 World U-20 Water Polo Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Brazil 17-9 in the 2023 World Aquatics Men’s U-20 Water Polo Championships on Wednesday.
Iran has defeated Argentina 15-13 and Peru 12-6 and lost to Australia 17-3 and Brazil 17-9 so far.
Iran is scheduled to play South Africa on Thursday.
Each team plays at least six games throughout the tournament.
The round-robin Championships are contested by 20 nations, including the world’s heavy hitting water polo nations Serbia, Spain, Hungary and the US.
The championship started on June 10 in Bucharest/Otopeni, Romania and will finish on June 17.
