Solution to Iran’s Problems Not Linked to Foreigners: President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Highlighting the economic growth and production boom in Iran under his tenure, President Ebrahim Raisi said his administration has not linked the settlement of problems to plans for shaking hands with outsiders or appeasing them.
Addressing a conference, held in Tehran on Saturday to mark the Industry and Mines Day, Raisi reiterated the need to focus on domestic capabilities to address the problems.
He noted that the Iranian administration would never tie the resolution of problems to the “hands and smiles of outsiders”, although it takes advantage of the experiences of others.
The way out of the economic problems is the management of domestic capacities, the president stated.
He also hailed the upward trend in the economic growth and production in Iran since October 2021, saying the mine and industry sector has paid heed to the guidelines provided by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and has acted with a knowledge-based movement.
In an address at the beginning of the Iranian year 1402, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the need for Iranian officials to focus on controlling inflation and boosting production.
