Bulgaria Tournament: Iran U-21 Volleyball Team Beats US
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-21 volleyball team defeated the US 3-1 (25-14, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18) in a tournament underway in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Iran will meet Brazil and Bulgaria on Sunday and Monday respectively.
Bulgaria also defeated Brazil 3-0 in another match.
Iran has participated in the event as part of preparation for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship, scheduled for July 7 to 16 in Manama, Bahrain.
Iran is drawn in Pool A along with Bahrain, Tunisia and Thailand.
