Resistance Moving Upwards: Iranian Foreign Minister
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The resistance front continues unabated, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said, dismissing the mistaken belief that physical harms may undermine the resistance ideology.
Addressing a cultural conference in Tehran on Tuesday, Araqchi described resistance as a school of thought and an ideology that has challenged hegemony and tyranny.
Highlighting the progress that the resistance front has made throughout its life, the foreign minister said hostile blows to resistance have failed to hinder its advancement.
“On the contrary, the blows would make resistance greater and stronger, because it is a cause,” he stated.
Although the resistance front has military equipment, its chief weapon is the blood of martyrs, Araqchi stated.
He added that the loss of leaders has not brought Hezbollah down, as the Lebanese resistance group has grown and become a reality in the world.
The physical harms will be compensated, Araqchi added, pointing to Hezbollah’s success in rearranging immediately in the battle against the Zionist regime and forcing Israel to accept a ceasefire.
In remarks in October 2024, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the perseverance and endeavors by the resistance front have changed the fate and history of the region.
Highlighting the failure of the Zionist regime in destroying the resistance front despite killing more than 50,000 innocent civilians, Ayatollah Khamenei made clear that Western civilization and politicians suffered an even bigger defeat.
The outcome of the events in the region is a big defeat not just for the Zionist regime but more so for the civilization and culture of the West, the Leader said.
