Iran B Loses to Philippines in China Basketball Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran B lost to the Philippines 63-48 at the 2023 Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament.
Amir Yazarlou was the top scorer of Iran with nine points and Amir Azari added 10 rebounds with five points.
Jamie Malonzo from the Philippines scored 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Iran had previously lost to Senegal (85-75) and the Philippines (64-60) in the tournament held in Guangzhou, China.
