Iran Basketball Beaten by Georgia in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s basketball team lost to Georgia 84-72 in a friendly match on Monday.
Team Melli had lost to Montenegro 81-66 and defeated Jordan 81-73 at the Tbilisi International Cup on Saturday and Sunday.
Hakan Demir’s Iran had also lost to Russia twice in two friendly matches last week.
The warm-up matches are played as part of the preparation for the 2023 FIBA World Cup and 2022 Asian Games.
