ISA Congratulates Successful Landing of Indian Chandrayeen-3 Probe on Moon Surface
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Space Agency (ISA) congratulated the successful landing of India’s Chandrayeen-3 Probe on the south pole of the earth’s moon.
Spokesman and Adviser to the head of Iranian Space Agency (ISA) Hossein Dalirian wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Iran Space Agency congratulates the Indian govt. & nation on the successful landing of Chandrayeen-3 spacecraft on the moon.
“We wish India the best of luck on this scientific mission,” he added.
On Wednesday, the Indian-made Chandrayeen-3 probe, landed successfully on the earth’s moon. This is the first time in history that an Indian probe has touched the moon.
India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission has made space travel history by successfully achieving a soft landing near the south pole of the earth’s moon. India is now the fourth nation to achieve a soft Moon landing and the first to have successfully touched down on the lunar South Pole – a little-explored area of the moon that’s believed to contain water ice.
