Iran’s Exports to Boom with BRICS Membership: Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s membership in the BRICS group of emerging economies will lead to the promotion of exports and trade activities, an official said.
Speaking in an interview with IRNA on Sunday, Deputy Chairman of Iran Chamber of Cooperatives for Legal Affairs Arsalan Ghasemi pointed to Iran’s membership in BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), and said, give the West's economic sanctions against the country, joining regional and extra-regional treaties is one of the ways to get out of the economic pressures.
BRICS is a club of emerging economies that constitute a large population in the world and this opportunity should be used optimally in order to promote exports and export activities of the country, he added.
Logical policymaking and decisions will lead to positive achievements for the country after joining BRICS, he said, calling on responsible officials to pave the way for supporting importers, exporters and industrialists in particular.
Economic growth of the BRICS member states requires adopting accurate planning compatible with the requirements of the global markets, the parliamentary deputy of the Iran Chamber of Cooperatives added.
