Iran’s Hajimousaei Snatches Silver: 2022 Asian Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mahdi Hajimousaei Nafouti claimed a silver medal in the taekwondo competition of the 2022 Asian Games on Monday.
The Iranian athlete lost to South Korea's Jang Jun 2-0 in the men's -58kg weight class at the Lin'an Sports Culture & Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, China.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
