Iran’s Women’s Kabaddi Downs Nepal at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s kabaddi team defeated Nepal 43-19 in its opening Group B match in the 2022 Asian Games on Tuesday.
Team Melli Banovan will play Malaysia on Wednesday.
Iran’s women’s team is the Asian Games defending champion.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
