Anastasi Shortlisted to Take Charge of Iran Volleyball: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Italian coach Andrea Anastasi is reportedly on the shortlist to take charge of Iran national volleyball team.
Iran has almost missed the chance to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games following poor results in Pool A in Rio de Janeiro.
Behrouz Ataei stepped down from his role and the team is led by his assistant Alireza Toloukian at the moment.
Vital Heynen and Stephane Antiga were also reported to have been nominated to lead Team Melli.
Anastasi currently leads the Italian team Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.
