Iranian MPs to Meet Palestinian Combatants

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A group of Iranian lawmakers will travel to the neighbors of Palestine to hold meetings with the Palestinian fighters involved in the battle against the Zionist regime, an MP said.

Speaking to Tasnim on Wednesday, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Vahid Jalalzadeh expressed the parliament’s full support for the Palestinian resistance.

He said there is a strong possibility that a delegation of Iranian lawmakers will travel to the neighboring states of the occupied territories of Palestine, such as Syria and Lebanon, to meet with Palestinian fighters.

Jalalzadeh also noted that the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission has held a meeting with the representatives of the Islamic Jihad Movement and Hamas in Tehran to evaluate the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories.

The Israeli regime has been pounding the Gaza Strip for a fifth day, killing at least 1,055 Palestinians.

Officials in Gaza say the enclave is facing an imminent humanitarian catastrophe with the power plant shutting down completely within hours due to the depletion of fuel.

The Zionist regime has pledged to launch a ground offensive in Gaza following Hamas’s surprise Al-Aqsa Storm operation.
