Persepolis Midfielder Salmani Undergoes Surgery
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team attacking midfielder Yasin Salmani underwent successful knee surgery.
Salmani has been sidelined for several months after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee.
He suffered an injury in the match against Gol Gohar in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in early October.
Salmani’s absences will be a blow for Persepolis since the Reds are representing Iran in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League.
