Rasoul Khatibi Steps Down as Paykan Coach: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Rasoul Khatibi stepped down as head coach of Iranian top-flight club Paykan on Tuesday.
Khatibi, 45, had been appointed as Paykan coach in June.
Alireza Mansourian, Faraz Kamalvand, Hooman Afazeli and Reza Enayati are candidates to lead the Tehran-based football club.
Under the leadership of Khatibi, Paykan just won a match in 10 games. It suffered four losses and earned five draws in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL).
